8000sqm Kidzania Educational Centre to Open in Fourways
If you’ve been affected by heavy traffic in the Fourways area over the past couple days, it’s because a Boeing 737 was being transported to the mall! It all sounds a bit odd but this phenomenon is part of the opening of an 8000sqm KidZania Interactive Educational Centre at Fourways Mall – how exciting!
The first in the country (and African continent), KidZania is an indoor mega-city with tons of activities, built especially for kids to help educate and entertain them. Aimed at children between the ages of 2 and 13, the interactive centre allows kids to adventure through a scaled city with over 100 jobs they can try out via uber realistic role-playing.
The experience is meant to teach kids about the concept of making money within the context of a city, empowering and giving confidence to our little people. The city is equally as educational as it is entertaining, meaning its progressive and totally cool for the whole family!
The most awesome thing is that the facility offers an environment that is specific and relevant to South Africa as a whole in terms of careers, entertainment and food options. What better way to teach your kids about what it means to be a South African citizen?
