If you love playing netball, rugby or volleyball then it’s time to rejoice because entries for the Cape Town 10s are finally open! Off the back of a memorable 2015 event, with all entries and festival tickets completely sold out in 2015, the 2016 event promises to be even bigger and crazier with new sporting codes and exciting attractions being added to the line-up.

Taking place at Hamilton’s Rugby Club from 4 to 6 February 2016, this year the Cape Town 10s team has upped the ante and it sounds like players and spectators have loads to look forward to! So what’s new? In 2016, the Mother City’s biggest social sporting and lifestyle event will, for the first time ever, host 3 different sporting codes including rugby, netball and beach volleyball! Other exciting additions include the launch of the interactive website (which will encourage player and spectator banter, cool team sign-up incentives), as well as a new event layout, great new bands and an even bigger jol for spectators and players.

Cost of entry for a team will set you back R26 000 for a rugby team, R8000 for a netball team and R2500 for a volleyball team. Your entry package includes a two-day festival entry pass to the tournament; 5 guaranteed games; a custom designed kit by Canterbury; limited edition 2016 takealot.com Cape Town 10s event vest; Food Lover’s Market vouchers; physio, massage and strapping services; Castle drink vouchers; Jacuzzi zones; prizes; a selection of awesome local and international bands; access to Africa’s biggest beer tent and a license for you to have fun, of course!

Entries opened on 24 August and all teams wanting to enter can enter online through the new Cape Town 10s website. Entries will sell out quickly so hurry along and sign-up before it’s too late!
