This summer, break away from the hustle of the city and spend the day with friends and family enjoying delicious wine, bubbly, food, and great music. Set on the idyllic green lawns of one of Stellenbosch’s oldest wine estates, the Vergenoegd Löw Live Summer Sunday Concerts feature some of South Africa’s best local musicians and are indeed one of the best ways to enjoy your Sunday afternoon. Matthew Mole fans will want to set aside Sunday the 4th of February for a live concert featuring the popular local artist supported by Chris Werge, Jesse Jordan & John Niel.
With its beautiful Cape Dutch architecture, prestigious wines and famous Indian Runner Ducks, Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate offers the perfect setting for a sunny summer concert. All you need to do is pack your picnic basket and a blanket and you’re ready to enjoy the festivities. A food market offering a variety of delicious foodie treats will also be available on the day so there’s no need to stress about packing too much in your basket! The dedicated children’s village will be sure to keep the little ones entertained, giving parents time to relax and enjoy the celebration.
The concert series features live music show by the likes of Matthew Mole, Desmond and the Tutus, Arno Carstens and Goodluck with the festivities kicking off at 12:00 and the headline act on stage at 16:00. The concerts will end at 18:00 each Sunday. Upcoming shows include Desmond and the Tutus (Sunday 4 March), Arno Carstens (Sunday 25 March), and Goodluck (Sunday 8 April).
