Even the most loved things can benefit from a bit of an update and those familiar with the oh-so-delicious LUST Bistro & Bakery will indeed be thrilled to hear that the eatery is celebrating its fifth birthday with a stunning new look and dinner menu. Located at Franschhoek’s picturesque Vrede en Lust wine estate, LUST Bistro & Bakery is the ideal spot for those looking for a delicious bite to eat in the winelands.
The restaurant has undergone a full refurbishment recently and now boasts a more cosy, relaxed atmosphere with sophisticated, contemporary decor. Lush green tones and earthy details help make the space more welcoming than ever before, and with the same beautiful views to boot, LUST is a simply unforgettable experience.
Along with the new look comes a new menu and new operating hours. The restaurant has extended its hours to include a dinner service every Friday and Saturday night, giving you even more opportunities to visit this great spot. The new dinner menu offers up six starters and mains, four dessert variations and a selection of the finest wines.
What’s more, the estate has also launched a limited edition wine, LUST Bistro & Bakery and Vrede en Lust Riesling. This new addition to the range pairs beautifully with spicy foods, curries and seafood dishes. Created in a traditional German Kabinett style, the wine is sourced from the Vrede en Lust farm in Elgin and makes for easy sipping over dinner.
LUST Bistro & Bakery dinner service takes place every Friday and Saturday until 22:00. For booking and more information visit the Lust Bistro website.
