This month Lourensford brings a brand new and exciting black tie event to the calendar, the first ever HGG Lourensford Gala for Good. But this isn’t just another opportunity to dress up and sample delicious eats and wine, it’s also a chance to give back. This fabulous new social event aims to bring celebrities, business, and charitable work together in aid of the Masincedane Community Service’s remarkable caring, training, employment preparation and upliftment projects in the Helderberg community. Taking place on Friday 23 June at Lourensford Wine Estate, this black-tie affair is sure to tantalise your taste buds.
The unique event is set to be a star-studded affair. Hosted by celebrity lifestyle-and-events TV personality, Aleit Swanepoel, the event will see guests enjoying a 5-course Gourmet food and wine pairing with food by executive celebrity chef, Gustaaf Boshoff and wine crafted by award-winning Lourensford winemaker, Hannes Nel.
As for the entertainment on the night, local singing and violin sensation, Renate will be performing live and unplugged at the event and guests will also be able to enjoy a living art installation, silent auction and Mercedes-Benz display.
Tickets for the event are R500 per person and the dress code is strictly black tie. Tickets are available online from the Masincedane website. For information on the event check out the Facebook event here.
