Summer in Cape Town just wouldn’t be the same without Goldfish Submerged Sundays – in fact, the weekly events are a sure sign that summer has finally arrived in the Mother City. So, get your dancing shoes ready and your party spirit locked and loaded because starting 29 November 2015, Goldfish returns to their home city bringing with them their  legendary Submerged Sundays summer residency to Shimmy Beach. We’ve got all the details on the weekly events so keep reading to find out more.

From their small beginnings as UCT music students, classically trained Jazz musicians David Poole and Dominic Peters have gone on to become one of the most original and successful live electronic duos worldwide. The duo may travel the world, spinning their unique blend of dance beats and live instruments but they always make time to come home.

The Submerged Sunday events are to take place at Shimmy Beach Club on 29 November as well as 13, 20, and 27 December 2015 and next year on 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 January 2016. Goldfish will be joined each week by a line-up of international as well as top South African DJs with the opening night featuring German dance sensation Stimming.

Tickets to the shows are available online from NuTickets. General Access tickets start at R100 and VIP tickets at R250 per person. VIP table bookings can be made by emailing or by calling 021 200 7778. For more information visit the Shimmy Beach Club website.
