Nail art is all the rage at the moment – who needs boring old plain blue, red or purple paint when you can mix colours, patterns and more to create statement nails that beg to be appreciated? Of course, heading to the salon every time you want your nails done can be quite an expensive chore so today, with the help of Essie we are showing you how to create your very own nail art at home. Watch the video below for a step-by-step guide on how to create the African-inspired Tribal French Manicure with Essie!

This super fabulous look was created by L.A based manicurist, Michelle Saunders who is well known for her a-list celebrity following and for leading the Essie teams backstage at New York Fashion Week. Michelle absolutely LOVES colour so she decided to experiment with this  intricate, yet easy to copy design.

The look makes use of three Essie shades; ‘Lapiz of Luxury’, ‘Russian Roulette’ and ‘Go Overboard’. All three colours are available for purchase at your nearest Essie stockist or online from Zando.co.za.
