Breaking news for cheese lovers, the Kitchen at Maison is now serving fondue! Just when you thought winter in Cape Town was the absolute wors, you can now escape to Franschhoek via the R45 and tuck into a delicious and oh-so-warm cheese fondue.

The mouth-watering new addition to the menu will be available every Saturday between 13:00 and 16:00 during the month of July 2015. Guests can ordered plated boards for the table to share and will enjoy a selection of pickles, carrots, sunchoke, cauliflower, gherkins, quail eggs, brussel sprouts, jalapeno, onions, fresh corn, celery, roasted mushrooms, kreef tails, mussels, charcuterie chorizo, mortadella and salami as well as bread and lettuce and herbs for garnish.

The platters will set you back R300 per person for a full Fondue or R250 per person for the fondue excluding seafood.
