Looking for a new show to binge-watch this winter? It’s time to hop back on board the sci-fi train! Yes indeed, fans of the sci-fi reboot, Lost in Space will be delighted over the news that Netflix will be bringing back its original series, Lost in Space, for a second season.

Produced by Legendary Television and starring Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Parker Posey, and Ignacio Serricchio in lead roles, Lost in Space reimagines the classic ’60s sci-fi series. The show is set 30 years into the future, where space has been colonised, and follows the Robinsons, one of the families that has been selected to test out the new world. When they’re thrown off-course on their journey, the family has to work together to survive in an alien environment lightyears from their new home.

Considering the first season of the show took around seven months to film, it’s predicted that the second season will be released towards the end of 2019 or in the early months of 2020.

If you’re after a show with a real cliff-hanger ending, Lost in Space is the perfect break from reality, transporting viewers into a whole other world from the comfort of your couch!
