Capetonians, we have great news! The team behind your favourite Italian eatery, Posticino has launched a takeaway pizza and pasta stall right on Sea Point promenade! After much success at their legendary Main Road, Sea Point restaurant, Posticino’s vivacious duo, Jack Gasparre and Enrico De Siena, have extended their brand to the seaside so you can enjoy a quick meal while on the go.
What’s on the menu? While you can’t exactly settle down to a full three-course meal, you can grab one of Posticino’s famous wood-fired pizzas, a cheesy panzerotto pizza pocket, wholesome lasagne, delicious cannelloni, or even a heartwarming Italian-style soup.
The green, white and red street food hatch can be found at the hub of the lively promenade, right next to Sea Point pools. It’s open for daytime dining seven days a week, and there’s ample seating to enjoy a view of the ocean while you feast.
