And, if you really want a health kick of note then including a super fruit like Baobab fruit is a must. Baobab fruit contains high levels of Vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, potassium and dietary fibres making it excellent for digestive health. It also has up to 6 times more vitamin C than oranges as well as a high anti-oxidant rating, and is one of the richest plant-based sources of calcium (at 1.5 times more than almonds). *Note: this recipe makes use of Baobab Powder – a concentrated Baobab fruit powder that can easily be added to yogurt, desserts or smoothies.

Baobab Berry Smoothie


2 tbsp. Baobab Powder
2 cups berry juice
1/2 cup plain yoghurt
Handful of fresh berries to garnish


1. Blend all ingredients (except fresh berries) together until smooth.
2. Pour into glass.
3. Garnish with fresh berries.
