Turkish Airlines and The LEGO Movie franchise have partnered up again in celebration of the launch of the second animated adventure film in the series with a brand new Turkish Airlines passenger safety video. The hilarious video features some of the film’s most loved LEGO characters and will be shown in-flight in the lead-up to the film’s release.
Continuing its partnership with The LEGO Movie, the new Turkish Airlines safety video will be shown on all flights starting 1 March this year. In August last year the airline debuted the first ever LEGO video and in celebration of the release of the eagerly anticipated sequel to the first film, the second 4-and-a-half minute long safety video promises to live up to its predecessor. It follows Emmet, Lucy and other characters — including LEGO Batman as the director of the video — on their adventures to other worlds.
Alongside the animated roles, the video also features some of the airline’s most beautiful destinations such as Cape Town, Bali, Moscow, San Francisco, Rome, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Filming spammed across five different countries and production of the video took over 900 working hours and a whopping 20 330 795 LEGO bricks to build all the sets. With safety being a crucial component to flying, it’s something worth making memorable and worthwhile!
