Win Tickets to The Parklife Gourmet Food and Music Festival in Joburg and Cape Town!
It’s almost time for the oh-so-fabulous Parklife Gourmet Food and Music Festival! Taking place in Cape Town on Saturday 2 May and in Joburg on Sunday 3 May the festival is sure to be an incredible day out for food and music lovers. We’ve got all the details on the festival taking place in a city near you so keep reading for more details on vendors and the music line-up.
Presented by MTV, the festival boasts an incredible local and international music line-up across three stages with the likes of Modest Mouse (US), American Authors (US), Jeremy Loops, PHFAT, Monark and more taking to the stage. And, for fans of the bands there will be a number of stalls offering their wares including your favourite band merchandise from T-shirts and caps to other paraphernalia.
As for the food, foodies will salivate at the opportunity to explore the vast food village where they can buy all sorts of gourmet eats and treats. A wide range of ‘underground’ pop-up restaurants, known for their intrigue, exclusivity and unpredictability, will be at the festival serving unmissable dishes. From a vetkoek cafe that will have your ouma’s tongue wagging, to a Prego station, Greek Souvlaki stall, gourmet wraps and burgers prepared and served like you’ve never seen, or tasted, before the food village is going to be the place to be.
The Cape Town event will be taking place at Green Point Cricket Oval and the Joburg event at Marks Park, Emmarentia. Don’t forget to take a picnic blanket along and enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch on the lawns while you listen to some stellar music.
Tickets will set you back between R450 and R495 and can be bought online from the Parklife Festival website.
