HASK Mint Almond Oil Range Saves The Day for Fine Hair! [Review]

The new HASK Mint Almond Oil range offers ladies (and lads) a three-step solution to having the tresses of their dreams. Here’s why you should treat yourself to the entire range!

The thing I love most about the new range is that it’s packed with all sorts of good stuff. The products are formulated with a Bio3 Thickening Complex and Peppermint Oil and are packed with omega fatty acids, Vitamin E and Magnesium to invigorate the scalp and increase body and volume in the hair. I also love that all HASK products are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colourants so there are no nasties lurking inside. Another plus is that they smell absolutely AMAZING! If you love mint then you will go crazy for the fresh, invigorating scent of these babies which will have you leaving the shower feeling like a new person.

The collection offers three products including a thickening shampoo, thickening conditioner and root thickening spray.  The HASK Thickening Shampoo is quite thick for a shampoo but really does the job! You only need a small amount to get a really good lather going. It rinses out quite easily and leaves your hair feeling like it has a little more lift at the roots – almost similar to the way your roots would feel after using dry shampoo to give yourself a 2-day post wash lift. As for the conditioner, you definitely want to pair these two products together to get the best results.

The HASK Thickening Conditioner is also quite thick but is easy to blend into the hair. The bottle says to leave the product on for 1 – 2 minutes but you can get away with leaving it on for another minute or two to allow it to really sink in. The only downside to this conditioner is that it doesn’t leave your hair feeling as silky as other conditioners might but your hair will still feel great and you’ll have lots of body that lasts.

My favourite of all three products is definitely the HASK Mint Almond Oil Root Thickening Spray. The product contains Ginseng, Gleditschia & White Nettle to help restore volume, fortify and invigorate the roots. It’s great for all hair types and can be used to give your roots a little extra lift in-between washes. The spray goes on super light and is non-greasy (for those who feel weird about putting oils on their hair). The spray gives you a lot of hold and texture without being too heavy on the hair and is a lifesaver for ladies with fine hair. The spray is best applied to wet hair – just comb through and blow dry – but can also be used on dry hair for an added lift when you need it.

The best thing about all three of these products is that the results last. You will find that even 2 or 3 days after you wash you will still have volume in your hair. The range is also affordable at R115.95 per product – find it at Clicks stores nationwide.
