Say Yes to the Dress UK Comes to South African TV!

If you’re a huge fan of the original US series, Say Yes to the Dress then you will be excited to hear that there’s going to be a whole lot more wedding dress excitement coming your way on TLC with the new series, Say Yes to the Dress UK! In this new series sees world-renowned designer, David Emanuel take on demanding brides, opinionated entourages and lots of drama and emotion with brides from across the pond.

David and his then wife, Elizabeth, made their mark on wedding history when they designed the world’s most iconic wedding dress for Princess Diana in 1981. Now David is bringing his expertise to Confetti & Lace Bridal Boutique in Essex in the British version of the popular show Say Yes to the Dress UK. The highly anticipated UK version of the series premiered on Sunday, 06 November at 19:05 and viewers can catch new episodes every Sunday night this summer.

This new series has all the same ingredients that made the orginal series a hit – loads of drama and plenty of beautiful dresses. Will any of the brides opt for a dress with more “bling” (10,000 pearls and sequins) or a longer train (7.6 metres) than Princess Diana’s? All will be unveiled on TLC Entertainment on DStv channel 135.
