Create Your Own Piece of Edible Magic at the Magnum Pleasure Store!
Attention Joburgers, if you haven’t already heard there’s a magical new spot in Joburg that needs your full attention right this second. That’s right, the ‘Make my Magnum’ experience is back with a brand new Magnum Pleasure Store to tantalise your taste buds and send you into a dessert coma of note! The pop-up ice cream store has once again set up shop in Sandton with pleasure seekers being invited to pop into Nelson Mandela Square to create their own Magnum taste sensation. Here are all the details on the limited edition spot in Johannesburg!
The Magnum Pleasure Store opened to the public on 12 March 2016 and will be delighting fans for a limited time only – 8 weeks to be exact. Which means you only have until Sunday 8 May 2016 to get down there and create your own sensational Magnum experience. The personalised Magnum experience took Joburg by storm last year and now customers are invited to pop into the new store to design their own custom Magnum with luxury ice cream, pure Magnum chocolate dip, and a range of delectable and decadent toppings.
This year Magnum invites you to create a personalized version of your favourite Magnum flavour – Mint, Death By Chocolate, Almond, or White Almond – with a new limited-edition range of toppings. Made by well-known pastry chef Danielle Postma of Moemas Patisserie, the toppings include ingredients like crumbed chocolate cupcake, mint shortcake, chocolate brownie and frosted rose petals, crushed almond praline and ginger biscotti. Each ‘Make my Magnum’ experience will set you back R45.Â
Of course, the new store also offers plenty of opportunities for Magnum lovers to win big. Magnum has teamed up with South African designer, Gert-Johan Coetzee to create the M Collection – a range of designer gowns and luxury fashion accessories, each inspired by one of five Magnum ice cream flavours. Find the store at shop L39 Nelson Mandela Square. Follow the signs from the entrance behind the Nelson Mandela Statue. The store is open from 09:00 – 20:00 Monday – Thursday, 09:00 – 22:00 Friday and Saturday, and from 09:00 – 18:00 on Sundays.
