Fine Dining Restaurant Opens at Landmark Constantia Nek Site

Constantia Nek

The historic Constantia Nek restaurant space has been a social landmark for many years but it took a dramatic makeover and revamp to really put the spot back on the map for both locals and tourists alike. And now, joining the oh-so-popular casual dining concept, La Parada at Constantia Nek, comes a brand new concept by the Harbour House Group, The Restaurant @ The Nek. This fine dining eatery is sure to give foodies even more reason to visit the landmark on special occasions and it’s set to open just in time for the busy summer season.

Headed up by stellar chef, Dylan Laity (of The Roundhouse fame), this latest addition to the stunning Constantia Nek location promises a fine dining spectacle for foodies searching for something extraordinary. With doors set to open in October, The Restaurant @ The Nek will still offer a touch of the old, celebrating some of the reasons diners fell in love with the Constantia Nek site so many years ago when it first opened.

The killer view from the restaurant will remain the central focus of the open space, while the interior will maintain the wood and natural stone finish, enhanced by a handpicked selection of modern Scandinavian-influenced furniture pieces.

As for the food, the modern South African menu and notable local wine list is sure to impress guests. Think contemporary local cuisine with traceable international influences. Diners will be treated to a vast array of seafood, vegetarian, vegan, and meat dishes made with only the best seasonal produce.
