Taking place  at 19:00 on Saturday 29 August, this feast-style meal will be inspired by acclaimed Chef Arno Janse van Rensburg’s recent travels to Denmark. All the ingredients for the dinner will be locally sourced but their inspiration comes from all around the globe. Fresh from one of the world’s gourmet capitals – Copenhagen – Chef Arno is fired up and ready to share the culinary knowledge he acquired.
The Kitchen is known for serving an ever-changing array of honest, unpretentious food and diners can expect to be delighted with dishes made with ingredients you can pronounce, sourced from places you can find on a map. The chef always places a huge emphasis on freshness, flavour and simple combinations of ingredients and we love that they hand pick a daily harvest of eggs, seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs from their kitchen garden and orchards, every day.
This unique dinner will set you back R375 per person and dinners can expect to tuck into dishes like Cured Salmon lax, Beef tartar, pickled egg and onion, Marinated prawns, Pork frikkadels, homemade butter, sourdough and rye breads, roast pork with crackling and so much more!
