Vegans in Cape Town rejoice; it’s now even easier to get vegan-friendly grub delivered straight to your door thanks to Kamini Pather! The winner of Masterchef South Africa season 2 has just launched food delivery service, FÃœDY, in the Mother City and it’s mostly vegan! Yes indeed, plant-based eating has never been easier, or more delicious.

Pather decided to launch the made-to-order meal delivery service after noticing a gap in the market for healthy convenience foods. But FÃœDY’s meals are not just good for you, they’re good for the planet for too! The meals come in 100 percent recyclable packaging, staying true to the brand’s earth-conscious initiatives.

If you’re counting your macros and all that jazz then you’ll love this service as all the meals are designed to contain the ideal amount of protein, carbohydrates, and fats to keep your body going throughout the day, without compromising on taste.

FÃœDY has five signature dishes which are essentially vegan but those looking for an animal-based protein can opt to add free-range chicken or sustainably-farmed trout if desired. The bases meals and sauces are 100 percent plant-based with each dish containing a selection of low GI carbs, freshly sourced vegetables, and conscious proteins like crispy tofu and quinoa falafel balls. Meat eaters can then opt to add their choice of the two types of meat if they’d like.
