HYROX Announces Race Dates for Remainder of 2026: 3 More Races Coming to South Africa This Year
Looking to plan your HYROX races for the rest of the year? The wait is over, HYROX South Africa has confirmed three additional HYROX race dates in South Africa for the remainder of 2026.
Following the announcement of Virgin Active HYROX Cape Town taking place at the CTICC from 3-5 April 2026, HYROX South Africa confirmed three more races dates in South Africa with two races in Johannesburg and a second Cape Town race date confirmed.
The announcement forms part of a global HYROX calendar roll out for 2026, enabling athletes to plan their race calendar so they don’t miss a HYROX race.
HYROX South Africa announced the 2026 race calendar through its South African athletes on social media with Matthew Stone taking to his Instagram to spill the beans in a humorous video.

The race calendar revealed lists the following dates:
- 30 & 31 May 2026: Johannesburg, South Africa. Race information here.
- 14 & 15 August 2026: Cape Town, South Africa.
- 27 – 27 November 2026: Johannesburg, South Africa.
