Scotch & Soda Opens First Cape Town Store at V&A!
Fashionistas rejoice, Amsterdam fashion brand Scotch & Soda have just opened their first Cape Town store at the V&A Waterfront. WomenStuff paid a visit to the new store last night and got the scoop on what you can expect from the international import.
Offering a range of high-end denims, fabulous knitwear, fashion forward pieces and accessories for both men and women the new Scotch & Soda store at the Waterfront is a welcome addition to Cape Town’s fashion landscape. This is their second stand alone store in South Africa, with the first being in Joburg’s Sandton City and we’re super excited that they have finally come to Cape Town.
The brand was brought to the country by creative duo Shaun Els and Victor Barbosa and is ready to surprise shoppers with their vintage-inspired pieces. We absolutely loved the that new Cape Town offers so many stand-out fashion pieces for customers to buy and love. We fell in love with their knitwear and the quirky touches in each piece – from stars and stripes to monochromatic statement jumpers there’s something to spruce up any wardrobe on their racks.
Their denims are also to die for and we loved that they offer a range of different cuts and styles to suit any shape. If it’s accessories you are after then make sure you check out their matching wallet and iPhone covers and their stunning range of handbags and scarves.
Prices average at about R1500 for knitwear, jackets and T-shirts so it’s not exactly cheap. We recommend you visit for investment pieces that will help you make a statement and leave the T-shirts and other basics for Cotton On and Mr Price.
