The creation of Mike Luptak, owner of tour company Dlala Nje, and Ponte Tower resident, 5101 forms part of Dlala Nje’s mission to bring more locals and tourists into the Johannesburg CBD and change the negative perceptions of town and Ponte. The fascinating new eatery launched in December 2017 and offers a shabby chic spot to enjoy a bite and a sip while taking in the incredible view.
Local eatery La Camerounaise is currently handling the catering and visitors can expect to tuck into adventurous brunch delights like Cameroonian beignets and flamed smoked carapau. As for sundowners, bookings open from 18:00. Of course, for the full experience, we recommend booking a tour with Dlala Nje and finishing off the day with a few drinks at 5101.
