The fact that this car looks a little like an adorable bug is also a bonus of note. Of course, Audis don’t come cheap so you will have to fork out a whopping R265 000 (or more) for one of these babies.
4. Mercedes-Benz A200 CDI
If you’ve had enough of tiny hatchbacks then this entry-level Mercedes will give you everything you need on the fuel economy front as well as plenty of torque to get you up the hills. features include reversing camera, and active park assist. This little firecracker will get you 3.4l/100km… when you’re cruising below 120km/hour that is! Although it might not be the prettiest on the block this little hatch does have its charms and is a breeze to park! Priced at R222 000, it’s not the cheapest on the block, but it won’t sting as hard as cashing in all your money for a Mercedes!
