Global sports brand PUMA has just announced they’re partnering with singer, actress and producer Selena Gomez to design new products and create marketing campaigns. First appearing the brand’s latest campaign for women’s footwear collection Phenom, Selena has started working with PUMA by hitting the ground running.

“Being part of the PUMA family is very exciting for me,” says Selena. “PUMA has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion. It’s amazing to see this influence on style and culture and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am hoping that we can create something special together. We already have some really cool projects in the works.”

Selena is an obvious choice in brand ambassadorship. She not only fits in perfectly with PUMA’s brand values, but she’s also a social force to be reckoned with, a huge influence over young women and stands vehemently by her innate integrity. She’s a fantastic and authentic role model, as well as being incredibly creative and talented. After being open about her struggles with Lupus, she’s shown the world she’s a fighter and has demonstrated incredible poise in the face of it. The partnership is more than just a partnership – they’ll also be collaborating on projects and supporting worthy causes close to Serena’s heart.
