Sxuirrel: The AirBnB of Parking & Storage Space Expands in SA!

Sxuirrel app

Have extra space in your home, garage, or even your office? Why not turn that unused space into beautiful, cold hard cash? Affectionately known as the AirBnB of storage, innovative local app, Sxuirrel is making it even easier for South Africans to make a little extra cash on the side by renting out their unused space at home and work with ease.

The idea behind the storage app is simple – it helps connect people in need of space with people who have space to offer. Through their easy-to-use app, Sxuirrel’s creators have created a marketplace that brings together people from different communities to create local, flexible space storage solutions. There are no sign-up or listing fees when you post on the app but rather Sxuirrel takes a percentage-based commission on any transactions made.

Users can choose from two types of space including storage space and parking space (soon to be added to the app), and click away to find their dream storage. Anyone with any extra space can register and list their space for a nominal fee, and those searching for storage spaces will be able to find a user’s listing on the app. Looking for space to rent? Simply search through listings based on location, price, size and additional features, ensuring total flexibility and only for the duration you need the space.

Worried about safety? Creators have implemented extensive safety measures to ensure a safe experience for all parties involved. All payments are done through a 3D secure platform, and the Sxuirrel team monitors listing and interactions and there is a built-in messaging system backed up by 24-hour support.
