The Lookbook for Moschino’s Collaboration with H&M is Finally Here!
H&M confirmed its latest designer collaboration, with Italian fashion brand Moschino, back in April and it’s safe to say we all peed our pants a little with excitement. The news was revealed via an Instagram live call from Gigi Hadid to the designer and gave a tiny taste of the playfulness and colour that fashion lovers could expect to see from the collection. We’ve been waiting with bated breath to hear more about the collection ever since and now, 6 months on, the lookbook for Moschino X H&M is finally here!
Inspired by diversity, equality, love and positivity, the lookbook features models such as RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10 winner, Aquaria, and social media influencers, like twins Aya and Ami of Amiaya. Styled by Carylne Cerf de Dudzeele, the collection echoing everything Moschino stands for — pop culture, fun, creativity, and playful energy,
The eagerly-awaited collection will be available from 8 November and shoppers can be sure it’s going to be packed with must-haves! Featuring slashed silhouettes, distorted shapes, and bold chains and logos on everything from T-shirts and jackets to boots, this collection is not for the faint of heart.
But it’s not so bold that ordinary folk won’t want to get their hands on it. The range includes a number of ready-to-wear pieces like a white hoodie-inspired sweater dress featuring a quirky Disney print on the front, and a t-shirt dress that’s literally ready-to-wear.
Another firm favourite of ours it the faux fur coat featuring the Moschino name on the back — just the thing to complete both the collection and your outfit for a sexy night out. For music fans, a collaboration with MTV plays with pop culture with a fresh logo mash-up in true Moschino style, subverting the iconic MTV logo on hoodies and sweatshirts.
Fashionistas with a love of bling will indeed want to get their hands on the dazzling parka dress that’s entirely covered in silver sequins, the gold leather biker jacket punctured with gold chains, or the oh-so-shiny bustier twinkling with countless rhinestones.
Promoting body positivity and inclusivity, the lookbook also features Instagram model, Barbie Nox, challenging beauty standards and changing the fashion game. Metallic detailing and a ton of bling finishes off this collection with the ultimate Jeremy Scott touch.
The collection will also include pet wear, from a padded dog jacket printed with chains and leopard print and a grey hoodie featuring the famous double question mark Moschino logo, to dog collars decorated with charms and gold lettering. This will be the first time both H&M and Moschino have released clothing for pets.
The Moschino X H&M Designer Collection will be available online and at select H&M stores nationwide from 8 November.
