The year has just begun and fashion retailer, H&M has already taken things to new heights with the announcement of an exciting collaboration with fashion designer Simone Rocha.
Rocha is the first Irish designer to work with H&M and is well known for her stylish clothing designs for women. Now the Simone Roche brand has expanded its horizons with the Simone Rocha x H&M collection featuring a range of trendy designs for the entire family.
The Simone Rocha x H&M collection will include her signature womenswear, alongside menswear and children’s wear. The diverse women’s collection will offer an array of different clothing apparel that’s perfect for any occasion. Pieces include formal wear, tulle dresses, knitwear and casual items such as basic t-shirts and trenches. Alongside the clothing, Rocha offers her signature jewellery and pearl embellished footwear which will go perfectly with any of her clothing pieces.
“I am so thrilled to be working with H&M on this very special collection. It truly is a celebration of the signatures of my brand, and the influences that have shaped me. As a designer, and as a customer, I’ve been such a fan of the H&M collaboration concept. Margiela, Alber Elbaz, Comme des Garcons – it’s such an amazing list of alumni to be a part of,” comments Rocha.
Rocha’s unique take on lines, shapes, fabrics and embellishments are sure to make the Simone Rocha x H&M collection very caught after. Edgy and bold, the collection is inspired by Tudor courtiers, wild floral, portraits and photographs of dolls and playthings. In addition to this, custom-made fabrications such as beadings, red and pink floral are incorporated together alongside some of Rocha’s classics from previous years to create a fresh look for today.
The Simone Rocha collection launches at H&M stores globally on 11 March, 2021. South African shoppers will be able to shop the collection at the Sandton City and V&A Waterfront stores.
