In this powerful image Christiaan David turns a simple urban bridge over the highway into a magical place filled with romance. I’m sure every Joburg resident has driven under this bridge at some stage and never dreamed the highway below could serve as a backdrop for a wedding portrait.

We all know that Turbine Hall is a magical place but Christiaan David manages to turn it into the stuff of fairytales in this incredible shot. We can’t get over the lighting used to compose this shot and how he managed to turn this urban space in to the perfect setting for a romantic rendezvous.
