Dyson’s New Airwrap Styler Curls Your Hair with Air!
A few months ago we told you all about the life-changing Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer (missed it? Read our review here) and now the technology brand is back with an all-new life-changing hair styling product, the Dyson Airwrap Styler. This revolutionary new styler is unlike any curling iron or straightening tool you’ve ever used and instead of direct heat it uses air to curl hair and tame frizz!
Sounds too good to be true right? Well, if the success of the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer is anything to go by, there’s no doubt in our minds that this new styler is all kinds of epic. The styler uses airflow technology called the ‘Coanda Effect’ to gently pull the hair towards the curling barrel using air and wrap it around the ceramic plates, causing minimal damage in the process. You can choose to warm or cool your locks with air as a finishing touch.
The directed airflow comes out of six slots located on the barrel itself. The use of air prevents further heat damage to the hair and means less risk of burning your forehead and ears! Great news for those with chemically damaged or heat fried hair! Another bonus with the Airwrap is that you can style your strands while damp as the air dries it at the same time. Yes indeed, this nifty gadget does it all!
The styler comes with a bunch of different attachments all contained in an elegant, matte, camel-coloured carrier case for easy storage and travel. The accessories include the pre-styling dryer (for those who prefer rough-drying their hair before styling) which can be used on all hair types to dry hair to the ideal moisture level before using your choice of barrel, a soft smoothing brush to add body and volume to fine hair, a firm smoothing brush to tame frizz, detangle, and smooth coarse hair, and a round volumizing brush to create volume and shape. The styler also comes with two barrels: the Airwrap 1.6-inch barrel for thicker, coarse hair and loose curls or beachy waves and the Airwrap 1.2-inch barrel for fine to medium hair types and more voluminous curls or waves.
