Under Armour Debuts Innovative New HOVR Cushioning for Running Shoes

Under Armour HOVR

If you’re an avid runner, listen up! Under Armour is on a mission to make sure runners have a smooth ride, whether on the road or the treadmill. The brand’s latest cushioning technology, UA HOVR not only offers unprecedented cushioning and comfort but Under Armour says it may also help prevent injuries and increase performance.

The new footwear cushioning technology protects feet and returns energy during workouts and has been designed to provide wearers with the perfect combination of cushioning and energy return. The midsole is composed of a super-soft foam, made in partnership with leading company, Dow Chemical, that provides ultimate cushioning and shock absorption with every step. Under Armour HOVR
Under Armour’s HOVR technology is just another innovation from the brand aimed at helping runners perform to their maximum ability by absorbing some of the impact your body would usually feel, adding comfort to your run.

The technology will debut in two running styles — the UA HOVR Phantom (R2799) and the UA HOVR Sonic (R2299) — with plans to add it to other footwear categories down the line. The new HOVR range is available for purchase now from Under Armour Brand Houses at V&A Waterfront Sandton, Mall of Africa and Menlyn.
