Ben Harper Announces South African Tour

Get out your fan girl uniform because Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist, Ben Harper, is performing live in South Africa this year! The multi-platinum selling artist is being brought to South Africa by We Are Live events and is sure to delight local fans with his eclectic mix of blues, folk, soul, reggae, and rock music.

The artist will head to South Africa for a 3 city tour, travelling to Durban, Cape Town and Pretoria to ensure no one misses out. Ben Harper has released eight studio albums over the past 15 years, establishing himself as an incredibly diverse, powerful performer.

With his ability to blend both personal and political messages into his work, the multi-platinum selling musician has achieved multiple accolades and awards. His songs have been simple and beautiful in nature from the very beginning, starting with his 1994 debut album, Welcome To The Cruel World.

Ben Harper will start off the South African leg of his tour headlining the Zakifo Music Festival at Durban Botanic Gardens on 1 June (find tickets here from R350 each) before moving on to GrandWest Grand Arena, Cape Town on 4 June (tickets available here from R245), followed by Pretoria on 6 June at Sun Area Time Square, Menlyn Maine (click here for tickets starting at R195).
