Winter is officially here and trying to keep the kids entertained can be a real chore for parents. Heck, even keeping yourself entertained in winter can be a real chore! Cape Town isn’t exactly the best city for indoor entertainment but all that has changed thanks to a brand new indoor SuperPark offering fun for both adults and kids alike.

Set across two levels within The Watershed at the V&A Waterfront, SuperPark is a one-of-a-kind entertainment centre with activities to suit every age group from 0 to 100 years old. For the kids, there’s the oh-so-awesome PlayDate – a safe indoor play park on the ground floor where little ones can blow off steam and play to their heart’s content.

Kids will love the Freestyle Zone, where they can navigate an aerial obstacle course, 3D Mazes, and even a Flying Fox Zip Line, amongst other activities. Other highlights include a Game Zone where little ones can try their hand at target practice and many more interactive games.

Older kids and adults are sure to love the HintHunt experience: an escape game that requires skill, patience and teamwork. Players are locked in one of four themed escape rooms and have to work together to beat the clock and solve a number of mental puzzles and tasks to get out. Players can choose from rooms like Submarine (work together to restart the submarine’s engine and get back to the surface before the vessel sinks!) or Shipwrecked (find the missing pearls and escape the shipwrecked vessel before the abandoned ship is hit by the storm and sunk).

Older kids and adults can also while away the hours at HintHunt VR. This virtual reality version of HintHunt sends you and your team on a breath-taking adventure in virtual dimensions. Before getting starts everyone from your team chooses a virtual character (avatar) before starting the mission. There are over 50 games to choose from and during your game you have 44 minutes to solve diversified puzzles which you will not find in a classic Live Escape Game.

In addition to a ton of entertaining activities, SuperPark also brings you a fully-equipped café. Think tasty, wholesome snacks and meals, and even a bar with a projector screen for adults needing a break. Ideal for just about any occasion from team building and family outings to weekend activities and birthdays, SuperPark promises a world of adventure under one roof.

Tickets range from R120 per hour for SuperPark – click here for pricing options. Hint Hunt prices start from R840 for 3 players – click here for more pricing options. SuperPark is open Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 19:h00 (18:00 in winter). For more information visit their website.
