With only twenty-four hours in a day, many of us just can’t find the time to take extra care of our hair, skin and everything in-between. Fortunately, there are eight hours we can use to rectify this – our sleeping hours. Yes, ladies beauty sleep is a real thing! Here are 7 beauty tips that can work for you, while you sleep! Use these tips to wake up feeling and looking beautiful, so we can all roll out of bed singing “I woke up like this!”

1. Vitamin E oil and honey overnight mask:

Vitamin E oil is rich in antioxidants, which are great to get glowing skin. It’s also packed with tonnes of anti-aging properties which will help reduce age spots and pesky wrinkles. The honey has hydrating properties that will moisturise your skin and keep it feeling silky smooth. Plus, it also works well as an antibacterial which can combat acne.

Recipe: Mix 2 tablespoons of vitamin E oil and 1 tablespoon of honey.
Apply as a moisturiser, leave overnight and rinse off with warm water in the morning.

2. Castor oil for long lushes lashes:

Castor oil is known for its powerful hair growth boosting properties, and is found in many hair growth treatments. For long, lushes lashes use castor oil on your lashes at night. With your finger, dab some castor oil on the line of your eyelashes before bed. In no time you will see your dull-lashes transform into diva-lashes.

3. Tomato juice and lemon mask:

Tomato juice is rich in vitamins that assist in getting rid of discolouration; it opens up your pores and prevents acne. Mix this up with some lemon, which assists in brightening the skin, for even tone, bright and beautiful skin in the morning.

Recipe: Mix together 1 tablespoon of tomato juice with 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice.
Apply after cleansing skin, and leave overnight.

4. Moisturise with almond oil and tea tree oil:

Tea tree oil is rich in anti-bacterial properties which assist with opening the pores and Almond oil has properties that can rejuvenate dead cells and leave the skin moisturised. These oils work together cleanse and moisturise the skin simultaneously and will leave your skin feeling super soft.

Recipe: Mix together 1 teaspoon tea tree oil with 1 teaspoon almond oil
Apply to face after cleansing, leave overnight.

5. Olive oil hair treatment:

For beautiful, long and silky hair, try warming up some olive oil; massage it into your scalp every night. The olive oil has properties that rejuvenate hair follicles and leave hair moisturised. Olive oil also has good fatty acids that coat the shaft of the hair, which will result in healthier hair.

6. Treat your feet with cotton socks and coconut oil:

For smooth feet and moisturised hands, massage coconut oil onto feet and hands, and then pop on a pair of cotton gloves, and cotton socks for your feet. The coconut oil will soak into dry skin and moisturise your hands and feet overnight.

7. Get white teeth with baking soda and lemon:

For more than white teeth, mix up a paste using lemon and baking soda. The baking soda has an abrasive that effectively removes stains from your teeth and will make them look whiter.

Recipe: Mix 2 teaspoons baking soda with 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
Apply a generous amount on your toothbrush and gently brush your teeth. Apply one night a week.
