Today I found the holy grail of fashion! If there’s one thing you need to know about me it’s that I am OBSESSED with the 1950s – particularly 1950s pin-up fashion. If given the chance to use a time machine to transport myself back to any time in history, without thinking I would immediately head back to the 1950s (seriously, a girl can dream). Which is why I was beyond excited when I discovered Retrospective, a retro fashion store selling 50s-style fashions for the modern woman. It’s true ladies, dreams do come true!

What I love most about Retrospective is that their pieces aren’t too ‘costumey’ – sure, they’re retro inspired but your average modern women wouldn’t feel absolutely ridiculous when wearing one of the beautiful dresses or donning a pair of the oh-so-cute high heeled pumps.
