Puma Drops New Training Shoe Made From Recycled Plastic Bottles

LQDCELL Method First Mile Xtreme

A few years ago using recycled plastic to manufacture shoes and clothing was pretty much unheard of, but now, as more brands jump on board this eco-friendly train, it’s becoming easier for everyday consumers to buy into the trend.

Puma has been one of the leading sports brands to offer options to consumers looking for high-performance shoes and apparel made in a more eco-conscious way. Puma’s new LQDCELL Method First Mile Xtreme pack is the most recent example of this commitment to helping reduce the impact of plastic on our environment.

The Puma LQDCELL Method First Mile Xtreme captures those quick and explosive movements during high-intensity training and enhances them with LQDCELL stable cushioning. Using yarn from recycled plastic, the materials in this shoe are sustainably sourced from communities of collectors in the First Mile network. Built for lateral exercises, agility drills, and over-the-top effort, this training sneak enhances your energy until its ready to reach its peak.

Featuring Puma’s lightweight ProFoam high-rebound EVA, this training shoe provides instant cushioning in a lightweight package. LQDCELL midsole offers stable cushioning during training while forefoot flex grooves and a zoned rubber outsole ensure maximum traction and grip during high-intensity workouts.
