WIN Tickets to Screenings of ‘The Equalizer 2’ in Cape Town & Joburg!

While things were ‘equalised’ in the first film, Denzel Washington is back to serve another dose of high-octane revenge action in The Equalizer 2, and we’ve teamed up with Sony Movies SA to give you the chance to be one of the first in SA to see the film!

The sequel once again stars Washington, who plays Robert McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston. He was forced to come out of retirement to deliver some vengeance against those who brutalise the helpless, and this time around, he’s seeking justice for someone he loved – so you know he’s pissed.

Director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Magnificent Seven) returns for the sequel, which also stars Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo. Screenwriter Richard Wenk (Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, The Expendables 2) also returned to write the screenplay.

Cool, so how do I get involved?

The screenings will take place on Wednesday, 22 August at Ster-Kinekor Cavendish Square in Cape Town and Sandton City Ster-Kinekor in Johannesburg at 8pm, but you’ll have to get on the list in order to catch this highly-anticipated sequel.

All you have to do to stand a chance at winning is email competitions@menstuff.co.za with the subject line “EQUALIZER 2”, and let us know your name, age, which screening you’d like to attend (CT or JHB) and… hold onto your thumbs. We’ll randomly select the winners and contact you ASAP to inform you if you’ve won. Ticket winners will win 4 tickets, so that you can bring 3 friends along. All attendees will be given complimentary popcorn and Coke.
