Wine of the Month Club: Enjoy the Sweet Life with Theuniskraal Boquet Blanc

It’s time once again for Wine of the Month Club! I have sampled some delicious wines over the past few months and now I’m back, ready to introduce you to my favourite wine for January 2018. Say hello to the Theuniskraal Boquet Blanc. This golden-hued delight offers a taste of the sweet life all year round because sweet wines are not just made to be enjoyed in winter! Here’s why it’s my pick for Wine of the Month Club this January.
This bold wine offers wine lovers the sunripe richness of Gewürztraminer and Bukettraube and boasts real character with intense fruity flavours. If you’re a lover of sweet wines, this delicious wine from Theuniskraal will indeed knock your socks off. I love it because it’s bold enough to stand up as a winter sweet wine but also soft enough to enjoy in summer when the mood strikes. It’s a great companion for any dinner party.
The Theuniskraal Boquet Blanc is fresh and sweet and is the ideal partner to traditional Cape desserts, such as malva pudding or a cheese platter, but can also be enjoyed on its own as a dessert wine. For a fresh summer take on this winter favourite try mixing it with tonic water or sparkling water for a deliciously refreshing wine spritzer.
The Theuniskraal Boquet Blanc is available nationally at major liquor retailers and grocers, retailing for approximately R42.
