Active Sushi Opens New Spot in Cape Town!

Active sushi

Great news for sushi lovers in Cape Town; Active Sushi is FINALLY opening its new permanent restaurant space in the city centre. We’ve all loved having the temporary takeaway-style eatery on Bree Street but let’s be honest; it’s far too small and your chances of getting a table on the fly are severely minimised. We’re pretty excited about the new, larger sushi spot opening soon so here is the low-down on the new Active Sushi restaurant space.

It’s true, it was a sad, sad day when Active Sushi made the decision to move from their well-known Strand Street location but the great news is their new spot is set to offer a larger space for fans of the restaurant who, for months, have had to squeeze into the eatery’s teeny tiny temporary space on Bree Street.

The restaurant took to their Facebook page to announce that their new spot will be opening in the Cape Town CBD at the end of June posting pictures of the progress so far as well as an event to invite all their fans to pop through for a bite to eat on opening day.

The pictures above show that there is a lot of work to be done before the restaurant opens its doors at 32 Hudson Street, Cape Town but it looks like we can expect a chic, spacious new spot from the popular sushi hangout!
