Summer in Cape Town just wouldn’t be the same without Goldfish Submerged at Shimmy Beach Club — in fact, the sunset events are a sure sign that summer has finally arrived in the Mother City. So, get your dancing shoes ready and your party spirit locked and loaded because this December Goldfish is returning to their home city for the 8th edition of their legendary Submerged summer residency at Shimmy Beach. We’ve got all the details on the events so keep reading to find out more.

From their small beginnings as UCT music students, classically trained Jazz musicians David Poole and Dominic Peters have gone on to become one of the most original and successful live electronic duos worldwide. The duo may travel the world, spinning their unique blend of dance beats and live instruments, but they always make time to come home.

Submerged Sundays

Starting Sunday 15 December 2019, The Submerged events will take place at Shimmy Beach Club on select days until 3 January 2020. The duo will be in Cape Town for 5 shows performing on Sunday 22 December, Thursday 26 December (Boxing Day Party), Sunday 29 December, and Friday 03 January (Closing Party).

This summer Goldfish are joined by Bakermat (Holland), Andy Baxter (UK), Camillo Franco (Spain), Kietzn (USA), Mia More (Holland) and Superlover (Germany), as well as local favourites Dean Fuel, Kyle Cassim, Ryan Murgatroyd and more! Find the per show lineups on the event Facebook pages and on the ticket platform.

With festival-style food, world-class production and Shimmy Beach Club’s unsurpassed views of the ocean and Table Mountain, Submerged offers more than just a perfectly curated entertainment line-up this summer.

Tickets are available online from Howler. General Access tickets start at R150 and VIP tickets start at R250 per person. VIP table bookings can be made by emailing tickets@shimmybeachclub.co.za.
