We recently got to sample the oh-so-delicious Hendrik’s Gin and we loved it so much we just had to share our excitement with you! This unique gin uses a combination of 11 botanicals, including juniper, coriander, orange peel and chamomile, and a late infusion of cucumber and rose petal to bring you a rather interesting flavour combination that can paired with almost anything you can think of. Cocktail parties are all the rage again and with summer coming up there’s no better spirit to have in your home than gin – everyone loves a good gin cocktail and they are super easy to whip up in a flash. To show us just how easy it is Hendrik’s Gin has created 4 super-fun gin cocktail recipes for you to enjoy at home – check out the full recipes below and get playing this weekend!

Hendrik’s believes that the secret to being a good cocktail party host is to produce something that your guests do not get to try every day. Something that is not overstated, but definitely makes you take notice after you try it. Here are a few recipes that tick those boxes.

Hendrik's Gin

1. Hendrick’s Gin Basil Smash

Ingredients:

50ml Hendrick’s Gin
25ml Fresh Lemon Juice
12.5ml Sugar Syrup
8 Torn Basil Leaves

Preparation:

Fresh, spotless basil is key. Add the basil to base of cocktail shaker and muddle gently. Add remaining ingredients and shake hard over ice. Strain over an ice-filled rock glass.

2. Raspberry Rose Royale

Ingredients:

25ml Hendrick’s Gin
5ml Sugar Syrup
One Fresh Raspberry
Champagne.

Preparation:

Combine raspberry, sugar and gin in cocktail shaker and shake briskly. After just three strong shakes, finely strain into base of flute before layering champagne on top. Mix before drinking.

3. Eden Special Fizz

Ingredients:

500ml Hendrick’s Gin
150ml Cherry Liqueur
1 Bottle Champagne
1 Lemon (sliced)

Preparation:

Steep sliced lemon in first 3 ingredients overnight. Pour into punch bowl over a block of ice and add champagne just before serving.

4. Hendrick’s Gin And Tonic

Ingredients:

50ml Hendrick’s Gin
150ml Tonic Water
3 Thinly sliced rounds of cucumber

Preparation:

Fill a highball glass with good cubed ice. Combine all ingredients and give a gentle stir. Garnish with 3 thinly sliced rounds of cucumber.
