Food and wine have been a perfect pair since forever, and for this reason, HQ has launched its first ever RAISE THE STEAKS dinner, kicking off with the Ribeye Edition! Steak lovers will definitely want to mark off this event on their calendar and book their tickets early as it’s going to be a food-and-wine-pairing experience like no other.
For the exciting new event popular Cape Town steakhouse, HQ will invite 3 top local wine farms to pair one of their speciality wines with each one of our 3-courses. Hungry diners attending the event will be treated to a unique menu each time with 3-courses and wines for only R295 per person.
The menu for the first event is sure to tantalise your taste buds and includes delights like Heirloom Tomato Caprese salad paired with Tokara Wooded Chardonnay 2015 for starters, a 250g Ribeye Steak served with fondant potatoes,
roasted vine tomatoes and a salsa Verde bone marrow butter paired with Rijk’s Touch of Oak Pinotage 2013 for mains, and a Deconstructed Eton Mess paired with Graham Beck Gorgeous Chardonnay Pinot Noir for dessert.
