Is This Cape Restaurant Serving The Most Decadent Brunch Ever?

Makaron Burnch

The WomenStuff team are huge fans of brunch – mostly because a good brunch contains all our favourite things (eggs, bacon, pastries, decadent salads and cold meats, the list goes on and on) but also because brunch gives us a licence to sleep in just that little bit longer. Thanks to brunch, it’s ok to have your first meal of the day at 11:00 and even more ok to wash it all down with a glass of champers mixed with orange juice! Which is why we were super excited to hear that 5-star restaurant, Makaron has just launched the most decadent brunch offering in the history of ever! Here’s all the info on their fab new offering.

Majeka House Brunch

The must-visit Majeka House decided to take the concept of brunch up a notch by launching a brunch of epic proportions at its super popular Makaron  restaurant. The irresistible brunch menu will be served every Sunday between 10.30 and 15:00 and is available to guests of the hotel as well hungry travelers to the Stellenbosch area.

On the elegant buffet table guests will find homemade, handmade, artisan and gourmet treats such as organic fruit preserves, cured local trout, fresh fruits, quiche, gravadlax, a choice of freshly baked pastries and homemade breads, an array of salads, a traditional roast meat, a hot savoury dish, local cheeses and charcuterie, and a decadent dessert. Unlimited coffee, tea, water and juice are included in the price of R395 per person, plus a choice of two glasses of sparkling wine or two craft beers.

Of course, the stunning food offering is made even better with Makaron’s sophisticated and beautiful interiors. Opt to sit inside or head through the doors leading onto the sunny terrace for the perfect brunch setting
