Puma Releases Japanese-Inspired Kiku Pack for Spring
If you thought the sneaker trend was going away sometime soon, think again. Sneakers and the athleisure trend are bigger than ever before. To celebrate this fabulously comfortable trend extending into the warmer seasons, PUMA has just dropped the all-new PUMA Kiku Pack and it’s packed with flower power.
The floral-print range of kicks takes inspiration from Japan’s tradition of enjoying the fleeting beauty of blooming flowers in the spring-summer season. The name is derived from ‘Kiku no Sekku’, also known as Chrysanthemum Day, one of Japan’s five ancient festivals.
The Kiku, or chrysanthemum, hold significant cultural significance in Japan, not only as a national symbol but as the seasonal flower of September. This shoe range takes its cue from this flower and the blooming season, as an extension to this year’s earlier Hanami Pack.
The range sees the introduction of updated versions of the Clyde Fashion, Blaze Cage and Platform mid with soft white leather and embroidered florals.
The Kiku Pack, featuring the Clyde Fashion Kiku FM (R2 299), Blaze Cage Kiku FM (R1 799), Platform Mid Kiku Wn’s FM (R2 299), is available at PUMA SELECT and X-Trend.Â
