If you’re looking for a stylish new place to enjoy a cup of coffee and decadent slice of cake in Sea Point then look no further than the brand new Coco Sofar. The luxury coffee, pâtisserie and café brand opened its concept store at the newly refurnished Artem Centre (previously The Adelphi Centre) on Sea Point Main Road last week and the new spot is already making waves on the Cape Town foodie scene.

This new 500m² space offers diners a 360-degree immersive experience with a pâtisserie bar serving an array of delicate and delectable treats, chocolate lab pedalling hand-made bonbons, and a coffee lab with everything from 100% compostable coffee capsules to a world-first custom lever espresso machine. Also on-site is a botanical microbrewery, café and retail space.

If you’re not that into coffee, Coco Safar’s exclusive rooibos products will indeed tempt your taste buds. The on-site botanical microbrewery will produce four bottled Rooibos products including three cold-brewed sparkling drinks and a rooibos-infused tonic water, a must-try for gin fans. Rooibos espresso capsules can also be purchased at the eatery.
