Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s time to celebrate. Of course, May also brings with it the arrival of cooler weather and the beginning of the winter season. If you’re feeling a little glum that the hot summer days are coming to an end, then why not lift your spirits and take up the home bartending trend by whipping up one (or all) of these delicious cocktails to toast to Mother’s Day and the last days of summer in style?
If you, or mom, have decided you’re not drinking? No fear, one of the recipes features the freshly introduced Fluère Non-alcoholic Distilled Spirit. Before you turn your nose up, consider what founding owner of premium drinks company, Truman & Orange, Rowan Leibbrandt, has to say on the subject: “Non-alcoholic spirits like Seedlip, Abstinence and Fluère aren’t meant to replace alcoholic drinks. Rather, they add diversity and more options so that when you aren’t drinking, or you want to drink less, you don’t have to compromise on flavour or ingredients. You can experiment with mixers, garnish and flavour combinations to create perfectly balanced cocktails, just as you would with an alcoholic spirit. The taste and drinking experience are so comparable that it’s possible to switch between alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks easily.” Sounds brilliant!
