Pop-Up Rum Bar Opens in Cape Town CBD

Rum Tum Tum

While the gin craze seems to have died down, a new spirit is taking its place – rum. And a new Cuban rum pop-up bar on Bree Street is the perfect way to celebrate with some cocktails! The perfect place to spend your summer sipping on some rum, Rum Tum Tum pop-up bar boasts an extensive menu of cocktails and different brands of the spirit. You’ll find yourself doing the mambo in no time!

Expect brands like Havana Club rum, as well as supporting brands like Corona and Fitch & Leedes, to name a few, to back up the concept. The cocktail menu is rotated for ultimate variety and the bar plans on introducing drinks like piña coladas on tap. One of their signature drinks is the Litchi Samba, which comes in a glass draped in a banana leaf, finished with mint and a litchi. The pop-up bar will only be up and rumming until the end of January so don’t miss out on the opportunity.

Not only does Rum Tum Tum boast a delicious menu, but the venue is totally Instagrammable as well – look out for the marvellous murals adorning the walls. They also constantly host competitions and promotions on their Instagram and Facebook pages, so keep an eye out on your social media. Rum Tum Tum is the place to be this summer!
