Spring is a great time to take a fresh look at life and experience new things. There’s new music on the airwaves, new fashions on the rails, new colours in the design arena, and new trendy foods and drinks to sip and sample. If you’re looking to explore new flavours, then the great news is there are also some fabulous new tastes to be explored at Starbucks — including the now iconic, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte!
If you’ve been living under a rock somewhere, the PSL (as it’s affectionately known by Starbucks fans) is a perfectly handcrafted espresso with a pumpkin spice infusion, creamy steamed milk and cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove. It’s then finished with whipped cream and more pumpkin spice on top. It’s an internet sensation and you can now enjoy this delicious seasonal drink right here in South Africa for a limited time only.
The Pumkin Spice Latte launched in Starbucks South Africa stores on 7 September and will be available for the next few weeks. But of course, with variety being the spice of life at Starbucks, this iconic beverage is also available in hot, iced and Frappuccino variants.
In addition to the launch of the famed Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks South Africa also welcomes the delicious Salted Maple Caramel Latte, delectable Fudge Shortbread, and indulgent Milktart Muffin, to the menu. So, if for some reason the PSL isn’t up your alley, you’ve got something new and fresh to try.
