There’s a reason Batiste is the global number one dry shampoo brand; the products work like a bomb and are super affordable. Batiste never disappoints, and now the brand has upped the ante with the Batiste Dry Shampoo & A Hint of Colour range. This exciting range makes using dry shampoo a whole lot easier and adds another must-have to your beauty essentials.
The formula is everyone’s best-shared secret and leaves your hair looking and feeling clean, giving you the confidence to tackle the day. The range offers three shades specifically tailored to suit different hair colours. Just spray it on and the product instantly refreshes hair in-between washes while also adding a hint of colour that blends seamlessly with your own hair colour.
Batiste Hint of Colour for Dark Hair is for anyone with shades on the dark hair spectrum — colour treated or natural. From mahogany to chocolate to midnight black, Batiste has got you covered. If your hair is a dark and chocolate hue with a cold undertone then you’ll want to reach for this shade. Hint of Colour for Brunette is ideal for ladies with shades on the brown hair spectrum; From caramel to copper to chestnut, even redheads. So, if you have light to medium brown hair or brown hair with a warm undertone or a copper, gingerish shine, then this is the shade for you.
Lastly, for blondes, there’s Hint of Colour for Blonde. This dry shampoo is the perfect match for those with hair on the blonde spectrum — from full platinum to sandy highlights. For an easy how-to guide on using Batiste for your hair type, click here.
The dry shampoo works brilliantly to avoid that dreaded white cast many dry shampoos leave on darker hair. But what’s more, for ladies who dye their hair, the dry shampoo with a hint of colour is also a great way to disguise roots and extend the time in between your home colouring or your next salon visit! All this with minimal effort. What more could you want in a dry shampoo?
Hands-on with the Batiste Dry Shampoo & A Hint of Colour range
I’ve been using this new range for a few weeks now, and it’s absolutely a game-changer. The Hint of Colour for Brunette is a great match for my auburn hair, and I love that it sprays on without leaving tell-tale signs that I’m a slave to dry shampoo. I struggle with dry hair, so I usually wash my hair only once a week to avoid stripping my hair of its natural oils too much. The Batiste range enables me to keep my hair looking clean and smelling fresh in between gym sessions and wash days. After using Batiste, my hair always feels soft and looks great, and it is a staple in my gym bag as well as on my dressing table.
But that’s not all. I’m also having the best time experimenting with the other colours in this range. I’ve discovered that just because they’re not a perfect match for my hair colour, I can still use the Blonde dry shampoo to create easy sun-kissed highlights in my dark hair without the commitment of hair dye! I don’t colour my hair, so the lighter product has been so much fun to play with to create a fresh look for a dinner date or lunch with the gals.
Batiste Dry Shampoo & A Hint of Colour range is now available from selected Clicks stores nationwide as well as online at R105 per 200ml spray can.
